What an absolute privilege it was to work with one of Australia´s most iconic brands Hills, the manufacturer of the famous Hills Hoist clothes lines which have graced Australian yards for more than 70 years.

Brought in to collaborate with the team at Banjo Advertising, Dan helped with the re-energizing of this Australian brand which has been such an important part of the Aussie landscape for decades. You see, Hills has moved far beyond manufacturing clothes care products to become a major player in the tech, comms, healthcare and security sectors. Boasting 32 subsidiary businesses, the time had come to reinvigorate the brand in a reflection of its undeniable growth.

The first step saw the re-branding of all existing packaging collateral in their Home Range, before a rebrand for the products which fell under the ´Technology´ umbrella. This gave each business arm its own look and feel while also unifying the new streams of the business.

The result for the Lifestyle brand sees a simple, fun, confident tone of voice via bright, abundant colouring, while the tech branding´s use of a conservative colour palette exudes a sense of innovation, confidence and reliability.
